The course focuses on providing a comprehensive understanding of FMS standards through a detailed explanation of operational plans, policies, standards, application and compliance requirements, preparation of reports and supporting documents, and necessary procedures, in accordance with CBAHI standards and the application of relevant national regulations, such as the Saudi Building Code (SBC), Civil Defense regulations, and the requirements of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing. It also highlights relevant engineering practices and international standards, such as fire safety according to NFPA standards, ventilation and air conditioning systems and air quality according to ASHRAE, in addition to international standards in occupational health and safety management (ISO 45001) and facilities management (ISO 41001), thus promoting alignment with international best practices in facilities operation and safety.
